Our Grading
The Couple Standard
Flawless and colorless to the naked eye.
Our standard optimizes the cut, color and clarity balance, so that your diamond is stunning to the naked eye. Go any higher on the scales and you’ll be overpaying for incremental quality, unless you regularly walk around with a high-powered jeweler’s loupe.
Cut
A cut above the rest.
The ring cut sets the foundation for a quality diamond. Little known fact--cut is the factor most variable amongst diamond brands. Other brands will market an identical excellent cut as "ideal", or "super ideal" depending on the jeweler. We don't use marketing jargon. We only select stones that are cut to maximize the light reflection, bringing forth the best sparkle and radiance.

Color
Colorless to the naked eye.
The lack of color matters when it comes to how a diamond looks. Most reputable brands will stick to an H or even cheat down with an I (if mounting with white gold or platinum). But with a G color, we maximize how a diamond looks to the naked eye. Couple diamonds sparkle with brilliance and radiance, at a far better value. For us, the stratospheric price jump to the colorless range is not worth it, if the difference is not noticeable to the naked eye.
